Andrea Ottavi was born in Rome on May 28, 1992. Since childhood, he has been devoted to the visual arts under the expert guidance of his mother and aunt, both professional painters. At the age of fourteen, he exhibited original works for the first time.
In the spring of 2009, he attended a course to deepen his knowledge of acrylic painting techniques. At the age of seventeen he began pursuing acting, first working in theater and performing in several plays, and later transitioning to the world of cinema. After training as a professional actor, he was cast in various feature films, most recently in Finalmente l’alba, directed by Saverio Costanzo and released in 2023, starring Willem Dafoe, Joe Keery, and Lily James; in Flaminia by Michela Giraud; and in Piove, a horror drama directed by Paolo Strippoli, released in theaters in 2022. In May and October 2024, he appeared on stage at Teatro Parioli Costanzo in the play Conversations After a Burial, written by Yasmina Reza and directed by Filippo Gentile. Among his most significant works are On My Skin, directed by Alessio Cremonini, and several advertising campaigns, including BVLGARI's Never Too Much, directed by Johan Renck and featuring Zendaya, Naomi Scott, and Lily Aldridge. Andrea continues to work as an actor, nurtures a growing passion for portrait photography, and has never stopped dedicating a significant part of his time to painting and sculpture.
